Departure: Manchester airport.

 
Checking in at the airport, thought it would be as well to inform the young lady at the desk, about the sort of work I did.
Not to impress, no no, of course not, but it may have some bearing as to why I had a radio controlled rat in my suitcase....

Destination: Walton Hall 
Just finished a booking with Manuel in North Wales, at the Whitehouse Leisure Park on the bank Holiday Sunday. Then up to Wakefield the next day, for a full recipie Fawlty Towers Wedding for Mr & Mrs Lockett-Priestley. A round trip from home of 600 miles. They had not seen us before, and found our site on the internet. We had lots of wedding entertainment ideas, used to great effect. How it all began.....

Back in 1975, I was a student at Gt. Yarmouth College of Art and Design. That was when I saw Fawlty Towers the first time around. At the time there was the Benny Hill show, and Terry and June, then this- Wow!!! from another galaxy of comedy! Liked the Monty Python, but this was something completely different!
